Our Situation Room experience is driven along by video briefs delivered at set time points throughout the session to replicate real-time status updates on a breaking situation to which your teams must react. In addition, a countdown timer keeps the pressure on the teams with an indication of the time remaining until the next update as they simultaneously attempt to open a locked briefcase containing compartments (ALPHA / BRAVO / CHARLIE / DELTA) to complete the task.
Each locked compartment provides additional challenges and resources for teams to assess and solve before submitting vital information to a remote “Special Ops” force. A secure device (a tablet with our app) links to Special Ops for teams to share their findings.
Teams must think strategically and apply agile ways of working to link the right people and information at the right time. Participants will also develop their understanding and appreciation of the integral role that cross-functional communication plays in situational leadership and high performance under pressure.
