How it works

In this innovative and exciting 'build your own boat' experience, teams select a design and gather together some unlikely building materials before combining their talents to construct a seaworthy vessel.

The proof of a job well done takes place on a lake, pool, or the open sea. This experience, depending on your audience, can take the form of a race, regatta, sea battle, or full-blown adventure to recover sunken treasure.

Your teams will discover that 'the impossible' becomes achievable when individuals collaborate and coordinate their efforts. Project planning and strategic communication are imperative as everyone works to a limited timeframe. Participants may discover that leadership and great ideas come from those they least expect.

Learning Outcomes

Collaboration

Improving collaboration across a team is probably the number one way we can help to improve a team’s performance. If you don’t communicate, you can’t collaborate. We start with communication and get it flowing, then get everyone working together. We have found that creating long-term change in the way teams collaborate can be as simple as getting them into a creative frame of mind. Whether the team task is to work together or compete is up to you.

Fun and Social

Choosing from our range of fun and social experiences is sometimes all it takes to get teams working together in new and more effective ways. These light and engaging experiences are great for energising a team or warming up conference delegates. They can help familiarise new team members or get well-acquainted ones working in innovative ways.

Leadership

Our experiences to identify and bring out leadership qualities revolve around either creative and collaborative practices or competitive challenges. These tried and tested techniques delve deep into team dynamics and how individuals respond to them. We have also developed a core set of highly effective interactive business games. Our interactive games mimic real-world scenarios but with a bit of fun thrown in for good measure.
