After a short group briefing on Zoom, teams of 3-5 head into breakaway groups. Teams brainstorm a storyline for their film before producing a storyboard of 6-10 scenes and choosing their soundtrack. Teams then capture the scenes on their phones or tablets and upload them to our editors. Our editors then work in real-time under the guidance of the team to assemble their film.
With this experience, team members can see that physical separation is no barrier to meaningful collaboration and high-quality output. Each team must employ forethought, planning, and expert execution to make their storyboard relevant to the theme. Participants step out of their comfort zone, acting, scriptwriting, and filming while juggling multiple roles.
Each team leaves with a polished film at the end of their experience and an incredible sense of achievement at creating something so successful from an initially daunting challenge.
