Bridging the divide is a business simulation experience, where teams find themselves in the role of both customer and supplier. Teams must juggle insightful project management and keen customer relationship management to be successful.
The aim of the exercise is to construct a bridge to a demanding customer’s specifications while managing limited resources, communication barriers, and a strict deadline. Once the bridge is completed, or the time has run out, it is put to the test. The maiden journey is our remote-controlled vehicle that must cross the bridge unscathed.
Bridging the divide is a challenging experience but a fun and engaging one. Everyone gets hands-on with the process, and every team member must pull together in fulfilling their assigned roles.
