Teams are shown an ominous video from a masked representative of the Red Alert organisation, alerting them that their computer systems have been hacked.
Each team is then presented with an electronic crate and told they must solve every puzzle inside their crate to quarantine the virus within 90 minutes. As puzzles are successfully solved, hidden drawers automatically open and present the team with further problems to solve. The final puzzle requires the team to enter their last code into the Red Alert sphere to stop the countdown.
Red Alert is a gripping experiential learning game that enhances teamwork and problem-solving skills in a fun and engaging environment. Teams must apply their creative thinking skills and communicate effectively to decide the best strategy to solve each puzzle. As the game progresses, team members learn to work better together and appreciate each other’s abilities, realising that their talents impact the effectiveness of their team.
In the closing moments of the experience, teams must break from their ‘silo mentality’ as they realise they have to collaborate in assisting other teams for the whole group to stop the hackers.
