Wensum Lodge Hotel

Welcome to the 'country hotel in the town' - We take a pride in our privately owned Lodge, and strive to ensure each visitor takes away fond memories.
There can be few other town centre hotels which enjoy a setting such as this. The crystal clear River Wensum tumbles right past the front terrace and under an ancient bridge; trout glide lazily beneath furiously paddling ducks; a little stream gurgles through the rear garden; yet the busy market square is no more than 200 yards away.

Formally an old Mill dating back to around 1750 and now renovated to offer a 'country hotel in the town', Wensum Lodge Hotel is ideal base for visitors and locals looking for a memorable stay in the area.
Dining Out In Style - We do not rely on overnight guests to fill our immaculate, non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant: it stands on its own merit as one of the best in the area.
Rooms Of Character - Our guests are cosseted in style; the seventeen well-appointed en-suite bedrooms each have colour TV, private telephone and beverage making facilities.
