Thistle Glasgow Hotel

Thistle Glasgow is conveniently situated in the heart of Glasgow's entertainment and shopping area and provides the ideal base from which to explore this facinating city. This popular hotel has 300 bedrooms including executive rooms. Thistle Glasgow has a restaurant, two bars and a coffee shop offering a variety of drinks, light refreshments and dining. The hotel has an Otium Health and Leisure club with swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa pool and work out facilities.
Thistle Glasgow has 18 meeting rooms, the largest of which seats up to 1,500 theatre style in the Grand Ballroom. The Grand Ballroom provides a most luxurious and impressive venue. It is over 1000 square metres and can accommodate up to 1500 delegates theatre-style. Equipped to handle the most demanding of situations, the Grand Ballroom has a projection and lighting control room to support the most sophisticated product launch, cabaret show or meetings event.

DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central has a bar and the Annlann restaurant serves traditional Scottish food with a modern twist. The Co.Motion coffee bar offers freshly made sandwiches and salads.
The Grand Ballroom can also easily be divided into three suites, The Cambridge, The Imperial and the Lord Provost, each with its own entrance into the lobby, using special acoustic partitions. The Ballroom lobby is an integral part of the suite and is designed to provide a flexible area for registration, pre-dinner drinks or tea and coffee.
This suite also has exceptionally impressive range of audio-video equipment, ranging from overhead theatre-standard lighting rigs and a professional stereo sound mixer with 8 microphones to the more standard overhead projectors and flip charts. In addition, there is the Robert Burns Suite which can seat 200 delegates theatre-style, plus another 10 suites and rooms accommodating between 30 and 90 people, suitable for smaller meetings, syndicate work or interviewing. Equipped with built in audio-visual aids these attractively furnished rooms have air-conditioning and natural light.
